In the Spring of 2011, the Larimer Campus of Front Range Community College directed that a facility condition survey be performed on nine of their facilities. The intent of the survey was to provide a consistent determination of the physical condition of the selected facilities and to identify projects for future capital outlay funding.
The survey consisted of nine facilities campus-wide that ranged in size from approximately 3,600 S.F to 48,984 S.F. In general, the facilities are in good to average condition for their use and age. The condition survey identified a total of 222 capital repair deficiencies with immediate repair costs and an extended time line with inflated costs per year.
Following the successful completion of the Fort Collins campus, FRCC invited Architecture Plus back to complete an audit of the Westminster Campus in 2012.
“[Jim] has an exceptional attention to detail and truly listened to us while prioritizing our needs. Jim and his staff delivered a high quality, useful report to us on time and within budget. I am particularly impressed with the online format of the report. It is such a valuable tool to me because it can be accessed and updated from anywhere with an internet connection. The team at Architecture Plus has also been very helpful with identifying plans and creating actions, both long and short term, to address the deficiences found in the audit. I know I will continue to work with Jim on future projects and hope that you are fortunate enough to do the same.” —Scott McKelvey, Front Range Community College (Larimer)
“Jim provides complete and accurate estimates and his bids are competitive…[His] approach and timeliness for completing objectives is second to none. The data produced in his reports is comprehensive, accurate and easy to download…Jim demands and expects a high level of professionalism from his team and closely monitors the quality of their work. I have complete confidence in Jim Cox and Architecture Plus.”
